The Grumman F8F Bearcat is an American single-engine carrier-based fighter aircraft introduced at the end of World War II. It served in the United States Navy, United States Marine Corps, and air forces of other nations in the mid-20th century. It was Grumman Aircraft's last piston-powered fighter aircraft.
