MIkoyan-Gurevich MiG -15bis PLAAF

The MiG-15bis is a further development of the MiG-15.
It was equipped with a more powerful engine.
The PLAAF introduced it in 1952.
During the Korean War in 1950, its outstanding performance resulted in heavy losses against the USAF's F-86 fighters. During territorial air defense operations, it shot down a KMTAF P2V reconnaissance aircraft.
Wang Hai flew the MiG-15bis and shot down or damaged nine enemy aircraft during the Korean War.
