The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a single-seat, subsonic, straight-wing, twin-turbine attack aircraft developed by Fairchild for the United States Air Force (USAF). It has been in service since 1976 and is nicknamed the "Warthog." It was specifically designed for close air support.

The A-10Cs are improved A-10As that were modernized as part of Precision Engagement.
