The CH-53 Sea Stallion is an American heavy transport helicopter designed and built by the American manufacturer Sikorsky Aircraft.
Operation Frequent Wind was the evacuation by helicopter of thousands of US citizens and South Vietnamese from Saigon on 29/30 April 1975, just prior to the takeover of the city by the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong which ended the Vietnam War.
