The Zetor 25 tractor was among the first products of Czechoslovakian post-war industry and was the very first tractor manufactured by the Zetor company.
By the end of production in 1961, almost 160,000 units had been manufactured, of which nearly 100,000 were sold in Europe and Asia.
This tractor was not only used for civilian purposes but also frequently by the military, particularly for towing fighter jets on airfield runways. It was therefore not uncommon to see it towing a MiG-15 or MiG-17 at the time.
