The Harrier is probably the most famous vertical takeoff and landing aircraft in military history.
Designed and developed by the British manufacturer Hawker Siddeley in the 1960s, it actively participated in military operations during the Falklands War in 1982.
The GR.7 is a further development of the GR.5.
It completed its maiden flight in May 1990 and first entered service in August 1995.
