This four-blade, twin-engine army helicopter is suitable for combat, assault, medical, personnel transport, and much more.
There are around 30 variants in total.
The first helicopter entered service in 1979.
Produced by Sikorsky™, it is the company's longest-running project.
It is in service in around 20 countries and, even after almost 50 years, remains the versatile workhorse of the U.S. Army.
The latest modifications to this UH-60M variant include vertical exhaust pipes to reduce the heat signature, new rotor blades and rotor head, the latest cockpit flight instrumentation, a radar warning receiver, chaff and flares to confuse enemy radars, and an M-type engine nozzle.
