Background information:
The Hawker Sea Hurricane originated as a naval variant of the legendary RAF Hurricane fighter. Urgently needed for convoy escort in 1941, regular Hurricanes were equipped with arresting hooks and reinforced landing gear. The Mk. IIC version featured improved armament with four 20mm Hispano cannons and proved extremely effective against German long-range reconnaissance aircraft. Today only a few copies remain.
