T34/85 Zavod 112 -1944

The T-34 is undoubtedly one of the most iconic armored vehicles of World War II and formed the backbone of the Soviet armed forces during the conflict.
The T-34's key innovations included sloped frontal armor, which provided better protection against fire, and wide tracks, ideal for good mobility over any terrain.
The first T-34s, equipped with a short-barreled 76 mm cannon, quickly gained an operational advantage over the most common German tanks of the time, such as the Panzer III and Panzer IV.
In 1943, the T-34 was further improved with the introduction of an entirely new turret with thicker armor, which could mount the long-barreled 85 mm cannon.
With the first T-34/85s entering service with armored units, the Soviet armies were able to compete with even the most modern and powerful German tanks, such as the Tiger and the Panther.
