It was armed with either an anti-tank rifle or a machine gun.
The British Army used some of these vehicles during the 1940 campaign in France, but all were destroyed or abandoned. The remaining vehicles were later transferred to North Africa to serve with the 11th Hussars Cavalry Regiment. They proved their worth there, but by the end of 1942, these battle-tested vehicles were replaced by more modern ones.
