The Sturmtiger was a heavy German assault gun built on the chassis of the Tiger I and armed with a 38cm assault mortar.
The official German designation was Sturmmörserwagen 606/ 4 with 38cm RW 61.
Its main task was to provide fire support for infantry units involved in local and house-to-house fighting.
The few vehicles produced were mainly used during the Warsaw Uprising, in the Battle of the Bulge and in the Battle of the Reichswald.
