The M4A3E2 was a special Sherman variant nicknamed “Jumbo.
It received much thicker nose and turret armor based on the M4A3.
It was able to withstand fire from large-caliber German tank guns and anti-tank guns.
It was later upgraded with the 76 mm main gun and had better anti-tank capability.
