The Lockheed F-94 Starfire was a first-generation jet-powered all-weather interceptor for the United States Air Force.
The two-seat aircraft was developed in the late 1940s from the Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star trainer.
It was in service with the Air Defense Command from May 1950.
The F-94B version entered service in January 1951.
