T-34/76 Mod. 1942 "Formochka"

Introduced in 1940, the Russian T34 was designed for high production numbers and was characterised by a very simplified structure.
Powered by an extremely fuel-efficient 500 hp V2 12-cylinder diesel engine and equipped with a Christie suspension, the T34 was characterised by efficiency and mobility.
The T34/76 was equipped with a huge 76.2mm gun and featured innovative sloped armour.
With the perfect balance of superior mobility, striking power, maintenance and mass production, the T34 is widely regarded as the best all-round armoured vehicle of the Second World War.
The T34/76 from 1941 had a distinctive cast turret and handrails for the crew on the hull and turret.
The T34/76 was used in the Battle of Kursk in 1943 and led a hard-fought counter-attack against the German Tiger I and Panther tanks.
