The M-84 is a Yugoslavian main battle tank based on the Soviet T-72.
It is still in service in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Kuwait.
It is based on the T-72M, the export variant of the T-72A
It includes many improvements, including a new fire control system that the T-72M lacked, improved composite armor and a 1000 hp engine.
Introduced into service with the Yugoslav People's Army in 1984, the M-84A entered service a few years later.
