- Churchill & Co - Britische Panzer 1939-1945
In times of German air raids on England replaced the Sturmpanzer Churchill from 1941 his predecessor Matilda II. However, it was not based on a modern tank concept. This led to constant problems with engine, transmission and drive, which did not contribute to increasing its popularity with the troupe. Thanks to constant improvements and conversions, the Churchill was able to assert itself and was not retired until 1952. Nigel Montgomery offers the reader in this volume all information about the "Churchill" as well as the other Panzerkampfwagen in British service.
