Curtiss C-46 Commando was a transport aircraft manufactured by Curtiss Wright Co. 3,180 C-46s have been produced since its first flight in March 1940. For the JSDF, 36 C-46s had been delivered from January 1955 to 1957. These C-46s had serviced as JASDF's main transport aircraft. No. 140, 143 and 145 C-46 were used for the C-46ECM which deployed the ECM raders of the Electronic Warfare Training SQ of the Air Defense Command, and each aircraft has different details such as the antenna positions.
