The Dornier Do 335 "Pfeil" was a German fighter aircraft of the Second World War manufactured by Dornier.
Unusual for German aircraft construction was the arrangement of one engine at the front and one at the rear, which made the Do 335 the fastest piston-engined aircraft at the time of its first flight.
Although this took place in October 1943, the model was not used in combat due to the war.
