The second Ar V2 (D-IRAS) flew in the spring of the following year.
Although the Ar 76 did not perform badly, the FW-56 was chosen and ordered.
In case there were problems, it ordered a smaller series, so Arado Flugzeugwerke built the Ar 76 A-0 series.
