The P-51B was built in Inglewood, California in 1987.
Of the P-51C, 1750 were built in Dallas, Texas.
The first production version equipped with the Merlin engine.
Of these, 308 were delivered under Lend-Lease and entered service with the RAF as "Mustang III".
