It cleans thoroughly, conditions the bristles, and is particularly gentle on both real and synthetic hair.
A simple, effective solution—ideal for anyone who wants to keep their brushes in top condition for a long time.
Difference to regular soap:
Regular hand or dish soaps often dry out brush bristles, making them brittle and shortening their lifespan.
Brush soap not only cleans, but also regreases the bristles and maintains their elasticity (important for natural hair brushes, but also helpful for synthetics).
It usually comes in a solid container.
Very thorough, removes even stubborn paint residue.
Nourishes and protects.
Rub on the lather, rinse out—rinse with water or detergent first.
Using brush soap:
- 1. Moisten the brush (lukewarm water, never hot!).
- 2. Rub over the brush soap—using a circular motion until lather forms.
- 3. Work thoroughly – gently massage the tip of the brush with your fingers to loosen any paint residue in the ferrule.
- 4. Rinse until clear water runs out.
- 5. Shape & Dry
- 1. Carefully shape the brush tip.
- 2. Let it dry lying down or with the tip facing down (never with the tip facing up, as water will run into the ferrule).
