In the vehicles of the Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.F/8 produced by Alkett, the two-part maintenance hatches with internal hinges were initially used for the front plate. The vehicle was only built in limited numbers in this version, unfortunately this version of the front plate was not included in the Takom plastic model kits No. 8013 and No. 8014, although the component is available as an extra sprue in the Panzer III / Sturmgeschütz III kits from Takom.
