Sehr schöner Bausatz von Trumpeter im Maßstab 1/16 mit kompletter Inneneinrichtung. Bestehende Fehler im Bausatz werden durch das Buch Superking aufgezeigt und ermöglichen eine Behebung nach Anleitung.

Ich bin mit dem Bausatz sehr zufrieden. Er ist aber eher für anspruchsvolle Modellbauer mit erfahrung geeignet, da doch kleinere Nacharbeitungen an den Spritzgüssen notwendig sind und die Anleitung teilweise nicht eindeutig ist.

Vom Bausatz wird primär nur die Oberwanne und eine Turmversion verwendet (zusammen mit der FO- Unterwanne von Tamiya für ein RC Modell) Der Rest wird ein Standmodell. Der Bausatz ist sehr gut detailliert. Auf Grund der Teileanzahl eine Herausforderung. Der Bausatz ist empfehlenswert

Impressive set the 2 turrets being included at a competitive price.\nThe interior again needs extra work or not (read David Parker’s book first and be at the same time extremely amazed and then thoroughly frustrated)……?\nI made the Tamiya King Tiger with the production turret somewhere about 20 years ago, no interior, lots of scratch built details to be added at the outside alone but still one of my favorite models!\nThis time I will go for the Porsche turret, the necessary detailed pieces being available in the box although I’m already busy scratch building the armored cover for the snorkel (early model King Tigers) which is not included.\n(Now waiting for whatever company would like to do me and probably a lot of other people the favor of producing a Maus 1/16 scale regular plastic model no detailed interior needed, just in order to be able to complete the collection!)
