Resin conversion kit with cross mount for injection molding kit of the 12.8cm Flak40 from Amusing Hobby and possibly Hobby BossBase kit not included

When the heavy Flak calibre 12,8 cm has been developed, initially, the base was designed as already known by the smaller Flak weapons 8.8 cm and 10.5 cm. The design was a cruciform shaped base with foldable supporting beams at both sides. Shortly after introduction, that approach was replaced by the local fixed socket which has been used especially on railway wagons as well as on Flak towers. Furthermore the Bettung 40 (mount 40) and Bettung 44 have been designed which was used until end of the war.
Most likely the initial design has been skipped due to transport issues, as the available trailers probably had real issues when moving that heavy load.
Using existing wartime pictures as well as information and the design of the smaller Flak bases a conversion set will be created which will perfectly fit with the existing kit from Amusing. Probably that set also can be combined with the HobbyBoss kit with only slight modifications.
