The US Navy's Gato-class submarine went into mass production for the first time due to the Pacific War. More than 200 ships were produced, which then influenced Japanese maritime traffic. In response, the Japanese Navy introduced the No. 13 submarine hunter for anti-submarine attacks. For submarines of the Gato class, different types of weapons and periscopes can be selected and thus different variants can be displayed. On the other hand, the submarine hunter No. 13 is shown with a deep charge projector, an 80 mm high-angle cannon and an anti-aircraft machine gun in high quality.
Scale: 1: 700
Length of the model: 131 mm (Gato class submarine), 69 mm (U-Boot-Jäger No. 13)
