After many years of research, after evaluating many individual reports and letters, countless individual meetings with former students almost every day of the company from its beginnings in late 1942 could be reconstructed by the end of the beginning of May 1945. Belonging and destiny more than half of the approximately 500 company members are documented in the text and in the Appendices. More than 600 illustrations and sketch maps make this chronicle unique.
