Like the other powers, the Americans did not really believe in the success of the armored weapon; indeed, they were considered more or less superfluous. The American armored program was vigorously boosted with the Second World War. There were a lot of types, whether they were called Sherman, Grant, Priest, or simply numbers like M2 or M3. They were not the best armored vehicles, but they were easy to maintain, easy to use and great to produce. Alexander Lüdeke presents the most important vehicles and models in this band in a tried and tested manner.
