Traumhafte Passgenauigkeit und Detailierung. Interessante Variante, die Dornier ""nackt"" ohne Außenhülle zu bauen. Trotzdem bietet sich für Profis noch Nachdetaillierungspotenzial. Zugegebenermaßen ist der Preis sehr hoch, aber man bekommt auch ein außergewöhnliches Modell

This is Volks/Zoukei-mura Inc. Super Wings Series Number 10 1:32 scale Dornier Do 335 A-0 "Pfeil" kit. Volks/ZM SWS #10 1:32 scale Dornier Do 335 A-0 "Pfeil" kit is based on the in-depth research using the only real Dornier Do 335 A/C still in existance at the Smitsonian Museum in the USA. Volks/Zoukei-mura Inc. crew made the excellent research, which enabled them to produce the very best plastic kit ever produced from Dornier Do 335 A/C. Quite likely this is also the very best plastic A/C kit ever produced. Volks/ZM SWS #10 1:32 scale Dornier Do 335 A-0 "Pfeil" kit has 353 injection molded clear and grey plastic parts on 12 sprues, decals and pre-cut wndscreen and canopy masks. This kit has practically and virtually a complete interior, which includes both engines, cockpit, internal fuel tanks, oil tanks, bulkheads and spars and bomb bay. Engine access panel can be open or closed. Flight control surfaces are separate and positionable. Canopy/windsreen can be open or closed (one piece). Kit's translucent fuselage and wings allow builders to build a "see-through" version. The instruction book is printed in color and is very clear and easy to follow. The instruction book's cover emulates the appearance of the front page of an original "Pfeil" flight manual, which is a nice touch. The very high quality decals cover only one A/C; the second pre-production A/C and at the same time the first pre-production A/C to be flown; Dornier Do 335A-0, W.Nr. 240102, coded VG+PH. This one and only real A/C is on display at the Smithsonian’s Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia. Overall Volks/ZM SWS #10 1:32 scale Dornier Do 335 A-0 "Pfeil" kit has an extremely well though engineering, lots of fine external and internal details and is a truly exceptional kit as e.g. the engines are scale models in their own right. Drawbacks/weaknesses of the kit; there maybe a few points, which all the builders may not like, but perhaps the major drawback/weakness of the kit is the very lonely road that Volks/Zoukei-mura Inc. now follows; the road of perfection, giving dream things to the modelers. Even at the moment, the only A/C kit that really competes with Volks/ZM SWS #10 1:32 scale Dornier Do 335 A-0 "Pfeil" kit is Volks/Zoukei-mura Inc.'s own SWS #6 1:32 scale Heinkel He 219 A-0 "Uhu" kit. Finally, Volks/ZM SWS #10 1:32 scale Dornier Do 335 A-0 "Pfeil" is a stunning kit by all means and earns the highest possible credits. In my book this is the best plastic A/C kit there is, followed only closely by Volks/ZM SWS #6 1:32 scale Heinkel He 219 A-0 "Uhu" kit.
